Internet Advocacy Roundtable: Turning Online Activists into Donors

Internet Advocacy Roundtable
November 15, 2007
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Need to walk your activists up the ladder of engagement?  Activists are so important to campaigns for shaping public policy, true, but many would love to help in other ways.  As all of us in the non-profit world know, fundraising is an ongoing effort.  While many of your activists are happy just taking action on campaigns, many others would love to help build your advocacy community with financial support.  The trick is finding the best way to ask them.  Join us for the November Internet Advocacy Roundtable for a discussion with Rick Christ, an expert at turning your online activists into donors.

Speaker: Rick Christ, Managing Partner, NPAdvisors

Bio: Rick Christ, Managing Partner of NPAdvisors, spent 20+ years in direct mail marketing and fundraising before devoting his efforts full-time to the internet in 1999. His experience includes account management at a fundraising agency for several clients, raising $10 million or more per year for each. Rick is a well-known expert in nonprofits' use of the internet, a frequent speaker at industry events and a prolific writer on the subject.  Rick is a past President of the Direct Marketing Association of Washington and is a Contributing Editor to the NonProfit Times Direct Marketing Edition. He is also a member of the Direct Marketing Association, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
