'Work in Progress' at University of Miami

Starting your career can be confusing, frustrating, and highly competitive. "Work in Progress" provides a forum for students to learn from successful professionals about pursuing careers in journalism and activism. This event will aim to provide crucial knowledge on what types of careers are available and share the steps that young professionals need to take in order to be triumphant in launching their careers.
The panel will feature Matthew Yglesias, associate editor of The Atlantic; Shelby Knox, activist featured in the documentary, The Education of Shelby Knox; and Smita Satiani, policy associate for Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN). The panel will be moderated by Campus Progress' Rupa Mohan.
