The (Red) Question at American University
November 27, 2007
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Product (Red) merchandise is becoming increasingly popular on college campuses. Many students who purchase these products, however, are not fully aware of the campaign they are supporting. The speakers will discuss the Red Campaign and to what extent it benefits populations with HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The discussion will feature Erin Burns, the national organizer for Student Global AIDS Campaign; Mimi Melles, program coordinator for Youth Activist Network, Advocates for Youth; and Joseph Cutler, member of the Student Global AIDS Campaign at University of Maryland-College Park.
Refreshments will be served. Sponsored by Campus Progress, Women's Initiative, and CASJc.
