Urge Samantha Power to Help Sanction Key Conflict Gold Smugglers

Enough’s latest report, “Striking Gold: How M23 and its Allies are Infiltrating Congo’s Gold Trade,” provides evidence of the conflict gold trade that is financing mass atrocities and crimes against humanity in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Gold is now the most lucrative conflict mineral in the east of Congo. The U.S. and the United Nations can take steps to help bring this illicit gold trade under control.

Sign the petition below to U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power and read the activist brief “Striking Gold: Why the Illicit Gold Trade in Congo Matters” to learn more ways you can take action and educate others on conflict gold.
